If you have a dream, you can't wait for someone else to do it for you. Sometimes you got to do it yourself.

From 2010 to 2011, Jeanell Allen produced and directed the gender-swapping musical theatre cabaret, Tisch Twisted at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. In the two years it ran, the show raised more than $1,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The show, performed by NYU Tisch drama students, was a resounding success and brought new life to musical theatre standards.
